Our Men’s Ministry invites you to “Happy Hour”. It’s not the typical hours or activity generally associated with the title. It’s actually a series of Saturday morning events held throughout the year. This one meets from 8-9am on Saturday, February 11th. It is open to all men (junior high and older) who are interested. We will have coffee, breakfast snacks and an interesting speaker – not to mention the fellowship that results.
Our first speaker will be Joe Birkmire. Joe graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Television Production in 2001. He worked for the United States Professional Tennis Association for 10 years producing a national tennis instructional show for the Tennis Channel called “On Court with USPTA” and has produced over 76 episodes. He now is the Director of Production Operations at Mars-Hill Productions which is a ministry through media. One of his key projects that he is involved in is called The HOPE project. Created in cooperation with motion picture producers and distributors around the world, The HOPE is a powerful 80 minute dramatic overview of the story of God’s Promise for all people, a story many have called the greatest ever told. Every day, The HOPE is viewed by thousands of people around the world. Joe is married to his wife Jessica and has two boys, Jake and James.
