We mostly conform to our empty nesters name. We all have adult children and grandchildren. We have refreshments & fellowship from 5:30-6:00 PM, bible study/discussion-6:00 to 6:30 PM, group prayer time- 6:30 to 6:45 PM. We will “stay open” after the scheduled end time for anyone who wants to stay and talk or just visit. We take advantage of the willing and rotate the bible study lead each week. This group has been together for one year, so we are somewhat new to the Care Group list. To date, we have taken one outing as a group. In August, we went to Kemah for a Saturday afternoon. Since everyone seemed to enjoy the visit and lunch at Kemah, we will probably schedule some more “special” events during the coming year.
